Did you know ? It is possible to hide some apps from the iPhone home screen. As on Android, we can store the software in a separate library to avoid seeing them accumulate along the virtual screens.
Behind its simplistic appearances, the operating system of the iPhone is actually teeming with small functions not or little known. Even the home screen hides little secrets. Did you know, for example, that it is possible to hide certain applications from your phone? Follow the guide, valid for all iPhone with iOS 14 (therefore from the 6S model).
Before you start, a little clarification: the applications do not really disappear, they are simply stored in the library of apps, a virtual panel accessible after the last page of your home screen. They are also accessible via the search field that can be invoked by sliding down from anywhere on your virtual desktops (hop, additional tip).
But how do we do it then?
To hide an application, nothing very complicated. Hold your finger on the icon until a menu appears, then select Delete the app then Remove from home screen. The app will remain installed on your phone, but will no longer appear on any of your pages.
If you want to hide an entire page, this is also possible. Tap and hold an icon until it wiggles, then tap the dots at the bottom of the screen and uncheck the page you want to hide. It’s that simple.
To find an application, all you have to do is go to the apps library, find the icon in the list (either via the search field or in the automatically generated folders) and keep your finger pressed on it, then drag it to one of your virtual desktops.
Nothing too rocket science, it’s up to you to the sleek and sculpted iPhone screen according to your desires.
